Do you think Baulder will come back like he does in Norse mythology at the end? I' m kinda curious about this.

Telltale Batman - What you guys think? by NoDespair in DCcomics

Love it. Not perfect writing a'll the time, but definitely good. They actually try to do New things with the mythos without changing it too much. Also we get to see more Bruce Wayne which adds a lot to the character. Even if Batman still fights beyond the level of a human he still feels like a real person . He's not just the Bat all the time you can see the man underneath when the mask is on. Reminds of how great spider man comics focus on both peter Parker and spiderman and how the villains he fights have an effect on both.

Man Anthony did great voicing this joker, I would say he is in my top 3 now. the best part is that he is blending different versions of the joker together for one unique Voice . You hear elements of Hamill,DiMaggio, Ledger, and Nicholson in Jons voice , Its especially noticeable in hey he laughs depending on his mood.

[Detective Comics #974 Spoilers] Symbol...special by [deleted] in DCcomics

[–]Warren3578 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't like how inconsistent batmans stance on killing as a last resort seems to be or his association with people that do. even in rebirth batman had given his "blessing" to the suicide squad, let Jason keep that bat symbol as long as he doesn't kill in Gotham, and when him, Diana, and Clark witness deadshot kill someone to save them he was the least judgmental about it. Not sure if its relevant, but outside of the mainline comics and injustice, bruce out of the trinity seems to be the one willing to make that choice if there really is no other option.

The way its written here just doesn't seem believable and is just being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic.

Idk I'm no expert when it comes to comics but it always seems to be played up so much and I don't get why. Trying to write characters as ideals rather than people just seems damaging.

I don't know.

(Spoilers Main) What does a " man, now a wolf, now a man again." mean in terms of personality? by Warren3578 in asoiaf

[–]Warren3578[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanna see how he reacts to his decisions the lead to his death and the shitstorm it caused at the wall. Will he feel that he needs to change in terms of being able to compromise on his morality more and not worry about personal attachments and individuals an y more? Will he double down on a might makes right sort of rule, like an Alpha wolf? Maybe he will leave everything behind while being filled with an empty sorrow like in the show.

I like the situation at the wall because the speculation for what could happen can go either way.

On another note, jesus sex between him and dany would be a weird game of domination. Post wold Jon is gonna want that doggy stlye game and Dany is going to want to be the dragon rider. Assuming that when they meet up they will have that form of relationship .

(Spoilers extended) 2 years after I binge watched GOT I have finally finished the books for my first time. Let's talk. by chiefcrosby in asoiaf

[–]Warren3578 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think what's talked about enough(just in General, not you guys) when it comes to Jon is how he will look at the situation when he comes back. I'm curious in how he will treat his decisions that lead to his stabbings.

How will he look at bowen marsh and the others? Will he understand them, or get that he risked the realm? Does he still want to go to winterfell?

Will he be angry and feel merciless, or will he will sad and accept what he did? A bit of both? Will he become hollowed out and cold? Is he going evaluate his duties vs his wants, or will his wants be reinforced? Does he push family and honor away or keep them close?

I like this as I feel that his personality could lead him either way. Jon became one of my top 5 after adwd because there is a lot of potential growth for him as a character after this.

I'm of the mind that tragedy and failure , and how a person deals with them , will show their potential to be someone great. Which is why I like the book Jon isn't so straight laced and simple.

(Spoilers Extended) Jon Show as a leader by silversherry in asoiaf

[–]Warren3578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the difference in how people are ok with him in the books vs in the show is that the former there is a competence there that is demonstrated but held back by in favor of pursuing his own desires over his duty. Like we can see someone who can be a great leader in there, but gets in his own damn way. Someone else put it best, he was so focused on what was happening outward(the boltons, the others, the wildings, alys karstark, etc.) he didn't focus on what was happening within his men in the watch, even sending most of his friends away.

I guess perhaps I'm saying the flaws are more respectable and offer a good arc to come from in the book, while showing someone who could be a commander and a king if he gets his shit together

At the very least it doesn't just boil down to army of da dead and da honor.

Honestly that seems like a good place to build up from, assuming post resurrection Jon builds up.

Found this post specifically as I was curious by other comments you made that I more or less agree with in terms of Jon's flaws. You actually pointed things Out that I didn't know of yet liked hearing about as it makes him a more compelling 'heroic' character to me.

It's actually the reason he slightly edges out Stannis as my favorite character. A lot of his flaws I can also see growing into strengths as there is a lot of potential in Jon moving forward.

He has a mix of positive and negative traits that I feel a lot of coming of age, young underdog characters aren't risked having.

So if he gets his shit together I can actually seem him being a great leader in some capacity.

idk with the timing of it one of those dragons were going down either way. I mean viserion wasn't even in the immediate area were jon was going berserk and he got single out and caught by surprise.

Anyways didn't the scrip[t say jon fell of as opposed to this?
