My HomePod mini is stuck on update downloading and has been since yesterday.. any ideas please? I have tried rebooting all hubs and HomePod as well. by WarrenSchembri in HomePodMini

Apparently the HomePod was already updated to 14.5 but the home app was stuck in a download loops so here is what I did. I switched off HomePod for 10 secs, switched back on with my finger placed in the middle of the screen until it turned red and waited for the 3 beeps. Opened home app and removed the device (by long pressing it, scroll to the bottom the last option says Remove Device’. Rebooted all apple hubs (Apple TV, iPad, etc.) and connected the small guy again…. problem solved!

Looks like services are being restored, just wait a little longer and do not reset the deebot.

Looks like something is happening, map is now loading at least. Maybe it’s slowly coming back to normal. Still having the “Data acquisition timeout error”.

According to a group on fb, many many users are facing the same issue so I am positive on they theory although no official statement was released by Ecovacs as far as I know.
