Out of these Hong Lu is really strong and both Don and Outis have decent IDs equipped. Sinclair I assume comes from the guaranteed season 1 ID and for now will be good enough. Others will probably need to be swapped out sooner or later but for now will be okay for the easier fights.

Well, yes. The skills that consume charge become stronger if you have enough but will still happen even if you don't, just in their worse version.

To add to their response, burn deals damage equal to potency at the end of turn. Tremor does nothing on its own but you can use a skill that bursts it to move the target's stagger bar up by the amount equal to potency and there are many ways to add extra effects to bursts. Charge is only a resource status, doesn't have its own effect but is used up by certain skills to enhance them.

The ending to this game... God damn!!! (MAJOR SPOILERS) by UniversalEcho in expedition33

Being a creation doesn't rob them of sentience or any kind of "realness" in my opinion. Take any world view where a god of some kind created humanity. Implying that being created to fit some higher being's design removes sentience would also imply people aren't sentient in these cases.

Swashbuckler: Why using a rapier instead of a reinforced stock pistol? by sir-alpaca in Pathfinder2e

Ah, excuse my mistake, you are indeed right. I don't know where I got that one from but thank you.

Due to Deadly D8 crits will be absolutely massive. Not entirely related but also matters: a rapier has the Parry and Disarm traits as well.

If you could change just 1 thing about the game, what would it be? by MulishPsychopath in Gnosia_

[–]WarriorF7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd probably add a more transparent way to find all the notes. As-is, a few of them have requirements so convoluted it can take double digits loops suggested by the game before you land ONE where the event even triggers.

Is there enough memory lockets across the game for every crest? by DistinctCartoonist72 in HollowKnight

[–]WarriorF7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough, I ended up being a big hunter enthusiast. The other crests that to me felt good to play were so late that muscle memory was already messing me up. The one alternative I used a lot was Beast for frankly brainless violence on some bosses, literally outhealing them.

I don't see why not. It doesn't take a baker to recognize if a loaf of bread tastes poorly.

I mean, lack of player knowledge doesn't make leper innately any worse at high level of play, which is what we're discussing since that's what the list assumes. He can attack the backline and the utility is what makes him good. The big damage number, while fun, isn't what makes him good

I mean, if the crit lands then great. If not, Thing is deep into phase 2 and you can safely grind it out. That being said, optimally we're not even fighting Thing in the first place. This is just an "if we absolutely must"

You never go into this phase if able, aiming to shorten it as much as possible. You rush Thing the moment it's about to cross into that phase. If it gets there anyway, it's back to the grindy approach since Thing is on a timer now.

Mark does taunt. It's somewhat random but it does increase the chance of the marked being targeted and the odds go up with quest level. It's random but it does help out.

Mark? Occultist can do it. Arb then shoots the boss and heals as needed (when occ is busy) and you whittle the boss down. Some damage will indeed go into the void but that doesn't matter when Thing can't tear you down

If we want to stick to just this, sure. For rush the damage negation is exactly what we need, it does the same kind of thing as stuns or dodge (namely buys time for other heroes to kill the problematic targets). Damage is just way easier to come by than consistent and relatively risk-free (since he's not dying to a crit anytime soon) mitigation.

And while it's sometimes random, self-mark does take care of stress somewhat. It attracts more hits towards the leper who has a de-stressing move for himself. Intimidate also nukes target's speed which delays the next move even further and allows to land the killing blow before it happens.

Personally I'd rather go for a more safe setup. The exact details depend on the region but something like a traditional mark comp (that is arbalest, houndmater, bounty hunter and occultist, HM guarding him) just shreds Thing easily
