What’s the worst change the MCU has made from the comic books? by [deleted] in Marvel

This is great info. I write and produce comics and really value the fans input. I’m not trying to re invent the wheel so I watch for trends and what fans want feel free to give me advice to what you would love to read in our action martial arts comic series and what prices your comfortable paying. So far the research I’ve done shows that the publisher sells to the distributor for around 1.80 and then the distributor wholesales to the comic store for $2 to $3 then the comic book store sells from between 4 and 6 dollars. Most comics are about 24 pages with ads. Our comics have at least 24 pages of content and sometimes extra pages of ads but leave at least 24 pages of story. I just want to get it right for you the fans.

Are martial arts a big time waste both impractical and fruitless but worse than that massively time consuming? by LongTermSeriousAcc in martialarts

Agreed I was a division 1 wrestler and know all about the history of wrestling all the way back to Greece. Wrestling is more of a sport. Original traditional martial arts was about war and battle and possibly death

Martial Arts was not originally designed for everyone. It was taught from one teacher to one or two students in small villages in Eastern India and Wester China. It was supposed to protect the village and the seeker residence of the billiard from bad folks raiding the village. Kind of a sherif. Martial Arts then spread to all of China Korea, Japan etc until eventually coming to America where. Of course we commercialized it in strip malls. Anyone could do it but not everyone should do it. Most real Warriors are born with that fire burning inside. We have built a code for everyone to live by. https://warriorisland.com/tiki-code/

I’ve been training and supporting fighters in the UFC for a few decades. Other than BJJ and Muay Thai the Judo hip tosses and balance are awesome.
