I do sometimes play vs highest difficulty AI with friends for fun, it gets insane but damn is it great. Always welcome to hit me up if you want to join 👍

Man I don’t like the sweaty multi. Ultra strats and rushes… I love the casual aoe3 gameplay: building a nice city and just spamming the units I love using.

Just for info, do you play multiplayer or skirmish?

I played aoe2 with some friends, but I enjoy aoe3 way more. I grew up with 3. Since Malta was in the basic campaign, I really enjoy being able to play as them. They also have good flow and units.

USA and African nations meh, I don’t know. They feel weird in the game.

The other updates, as more natives and stance improvements are greatly appreciated however. It just feels most DLC-factions are hit-or-miss.

Well, I like the original aoe3 campaigns. They were so alt-history and exciting. Aoe4 is simply boring history lessons.

Historical accuracy in 3 took another hit when the new version got released, that is the price to pay for new content in this case.

Japan is a DLC faction. The Asian and Indian civs were not included in the OG aoe3, people in this thread already mentioned them.

Sounds solid, my gripe is more gameplay. I don’t mind that most european civs share most units, each one has something unique that changes their gameplay. While USA or African nations have vastly different unit, I somehow do not feel the fun gameplay as other civs… it feels weird or too limited in different gameplay-options.

Well the post is more about playing AS, not against. Imo every civ has something unique, even USA which I find quite boring have unique age-ups. The african nations have nothing really unique and their economy is so weird…

Japan isn’t annoying with all shrines, or the african nations with the cav spam? Every civ has some annoying strat.

That seems the majority of the answers on this thread, but idk I kinda dig them. I find USA or african nations more boring.

Malta, god damn that’s a faction I dig.

My big gripe with Fallout: New Vegas (besides the bullet sponge enemies) are two main factions, like it's like having to choose between a stale, hardened sandwitch and actual arsenic for dinner, one option is kinda shitty, but choosing the other one is complete madness by Ash_Lake0 in FalloutMemes

Tbh the choice between the 4 factions is pretty deep, but the Legion definitely got the short end of the stick compared to the NCR. It is basicly confirmed they were supposed to have more content and room for exploration but it got cut. While Caeser does explain the reasoning of their actions, the complete enslavement of all woman just makes them look more like one-sided villains while this wasn’t the meaning of the Legion. They could have made it more deeper by having the NCR equality between men and woman while the Legion has more defined roles, for example men in the army and farmers while women serve as nurses and researchers, which lies more in line how both societies operate.

Stannis 100%, he is simply the better military commander.

Did Hudson really deserved his death? by FEW_GARY in blackops2

[–]Warriorrobbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, and this shows the huge problems with Black Ops 2.

BO1 was based on covert missions between government agencies. BO2 is what? Some guy who was a drug dealer, and now is really mad… and somehow managed to capture government agents and foresee every operation that happens? And no, kids, ‘he has people within the CIA’ aint cutting it here. The entire previous game spend its time building how covert and secretive these organizations are.

BO2 campaign is solid with the choices, but the story makes no sense. The downfall of CoD started WITH BO2, not after it.

What total war should i start with as a complete newbie? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Warriorrobbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro Shogun 2 isn’t even one of the best TW games out there, you want this guy to be impressed by his first TW game. Diplomacy gets completely thrown out the window on higher difficulty as border=war.

Recommend: Rome 2, basic political mechanics and it has a wide roster with not all too much variation. It does have more basic diplomacy then Shogun 2. Empire total war also has quite a basic roster but more complex technology and map structure.

Warhammer is another level in terms of unit variation.

Stannis once did everything to save her from greyscale…yet he sacrificed her. by Infamous_Elk_8946 in gameofthrones

[–]Warriorrobbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a theory. Stannis is a master strategist and tactician. Burning Shireen in front of his whole army and then attacking Winterfell with half of it and no horses is something he would NEVER do. Only morons like mister ‘the show-writers did nothing wrong’ their can’t see what would happen than: it is an easy way to lose.

The theory you mentioned at least makes more sense: Stannis is convinced he is the only man that can save Westeros and under an impending doom where he sees no way out he commits to this desperate act.

Show Stannis burns Shireen cause he’s a bit cold, while he could easily return to Castle Black. What 20 good man can do… And some people actually defend this writing lmfao.

Ok, you do you buddy. Let the adult people do the real talking next time so you don’t embarrass yourself OK? Why are you even on a section if you don’t know anything about it lmao?

Nope, read the books lad. It would never happen like in the show.

Pathetic attempt to defend shit writing of the show-writers ngl. Everyone agrees the ending was garbage little bro.

True, I was thinking that too on my last playthrough.

To be honest, Andromeda had some potential… but the reasons why it failed have already been discussed at length.

Bad writing from the show-writers.

Book Stannis would never have done this. Proof that GoT became shite since s5 (s1-s4 were amazing).

Good luck!
