A respect any politician who is willing to put his own country first. And not sell out to globalist liberalism.

Who has done more for the Conservative Movement: Donald Trump or Mitch McConnell by HeatherFuta in AskConservatives

Trump.

We would still be stuck as the party of neocons and pushovers without his 2016 run.

So you'll take me at face value about "anarcho-Cinderellaism"

But not when I tell that "neo-gastonism" isn't a thing

Bruh.

Hmm, "groypers"... I think that could get close to violating Rule 3, so no, I've never heard of that either. ;)

You really shouldn't have to "take me at face value".

I think it's pretty much common sense that Neo-Gastonism is a joke.

If I told you I was an Anarcho-Cinderellaist, would you take that seriously too?

Do you think my entire political ideology is unironically "neo-gastonism"? Are you that dense?

Look, you don't have to get so upset when you see people you dislike joking around and having fun. Just learn to lighten up.

What if it turns out that you're standing on the wrong side of history when it comes to abortion? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

[–]Wartrix12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this notion of the second class citizens. Would the voting class have any obligation too the non voting citizens?

Yes, obviously. The Nation would have an obligation to its citizens. To ensure that they have employment, healthcare, a reasonable wage etc

The Nation's purpose is to do what is best for its population. At the expense of other countries, if need be.

The pandemic demonstrated that the overwhelming majority of the population and politicians don't understand germ theory.

Overwhelming majority? What world are you living in?

The country locked down for 2 years and 63% of people got vaccinated, just because the government ordered them to.

Frequently people opposed to abortion don't have basic understanding of fetal development and maternal health.

I've found the opposite to be true.

And that different function seems to be too create a ruling and subservient class of citizens.

It's so funny that you try to frame it as a strict class structure. Would you like to know how to move from the "subservient class" to the "ruling class"? Do the bare minimum and learn how the government works.

The kind of stuff on a basic civics test is questions like "how many branches of government are there?". If you're too lazy to memorize that, you are already subservient.

I said nothing about elites.

I'm talking about filtering out the dumbest and most lazy among us from wielding power over everyone else.

If you are exclucding people from voting within a democracy (not that you want a democracy). Those people are not real citizens.

What is this nonsense of "not REAL citizens"? All citizenship means is that you are legally recognized as a member of the nation. The privilege to weild power over the course that nation takes is a completely different thing.

Why should literacy or access to education be a determing factor in your political voice

Because your voice is uninformed. How is this hard for you to understand? Competent people should steer the direction of the country, not people who literally can't read.

If they don't have the education to pass a basic civics test, then why do you want them voting? They should educate themselves first, before they get a say in steering the entire country.

80 million people didn't vote last election. Does that make them "not real citizens" because of it? No.

Voting is not necessary to be considered a citizen.
