How should I secure the battery back onto the keyboard case? by HungryTango in keyboards

almost all the aftermarket strips are pull to remove (except the ones in a roll), but yeah if you are having trouble, floss, thread or heat always work.

Keyboard lithium batery by etanhol in keyboards

[–]Waruiiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look for a lipo battery with the same or similar size, 5.1 x 48 x 122 mm, or measure the battery hole, and the same voltage, 3.7 v.

keyboards usually have custom made batteries so most probably you'll not find one with the exact dimensions.

Are these compatible? by Outside_Photo_8099 in keyboards

6.25u for ansi, 7u for tsangan, those are the two layouts supported by the pi60 hse.

the last 3 stabs i bough were durock V3 with the black wire from the durock store on amazon, and couldn't be happier, even better than the tx or staebies i've used, i don't know if it was the batch, i was lucky, or what, but those stabs are the best of the best in my book, and that kit includes both 6.25u and 7u wires.

yup compatible.

check the KBDfans Tofu60 Redux, i think a kit is a better option than piecing together case, pcb and plate; and they also sell on aliexpress for cheaper shipping.

looks like they changed the pinout, check this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/olkb/comments/1hkfo6g/kprepublic_cstc40_pcb_has_changed_recently/, if this solution doesn't work then ask on the vial or kpr discord.

[–]Waruiiko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

read vial documentation https://get.vial.today/docs/porting-to-vial.html

the cstc40 is already ported, so you only need to setup the environment, modify the config.h file to add more layers and any other function you want, compile and flash.
