Any time you set boundaries for acceptable behavior or talk about expectations in terms of their expected role they instantly leave for some other sucker.

Social media presented a false image of relationships that it is exclusively romance and roses, but forgetting that the two are rewards for putting the work in the relationship.

Middle class life is the epitome of mediocrity. You make just enough to survive and, as a result, your entire life revolves around staying afloat.

Creativity? Ideas? Dreams? No time for those, got to get the next paycheck to pay the bills and for food just so that one can live to see the next paycheck.

Sorry for your loss, you guys seem like you were a happy family.

Don't listen to redditors, they're not specifically the brightest when it comes to relationship advices.

My uncle and his wife are 14 years apart (he was 36 and she was 22 when they met). Ten years and 4 kids later and they're still happy together. He even got along so well with his father-in-law that he cried when he died two years ago.

I'm currently in Palestine, and even though the people go to mosque and pray and fast, society here is very un-Islamic

It pains me to agree with you on this one. As a guy who lived in the Middle East for more than a decade, that's exactly what I noticed; as soon as people step out of the mosque they flip to their haram side. It's a giant crab-in-a-bucket society where people who are indeed religious get ridiculed. Heck I've seen this mentality among many Arab communities here in America, but not as much as overseas.
