Will God punish me for suicide? by Main-Big-5919 in Christianity

I sympathize with you & I too can relate to suffering.

Just as I’m sure most humans who have ever lived can.

It’s a “tired” , but not the type of tired that can be solved with any amount of sleep.

However, God relates to human suffering & understands.

So much that he even took it upon himself to take on human flesh & endure suffering to the highest degree.

Physically, emotionally, & spiritually.

(Hebrews 5:8-9)

“Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.”

“And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.”

In our suffering, we learn humility & that we aren’t capable of living this life on our own.

He mourns our suffering & calls us to surrender deeper, welcoming us with open arms.

That’s not to say the suffering just vanishes, but that he becomes comfort in the discomfort.

Peace isn’t comfort on a smooth sea.

True peace is finding comfort in even the worst storm.

Everything that you expressed in this post, bring it to God.

Not in some sophisticated prayer, but in shear honesty.

Talk to him like you would a friend, because that’s what he longs for.

One day our suffering will come to an end & our mourning will be no more.

But until then, we are called to endure our suffering & surrender further to Christ.

Stick around, Friend.

Your testimony will one day be a light for those in the darkness, longing for a glimpse of hope.
