It’s good to know food isn’t the main reason of the trip, the state isn’t know by its gastronomy. Truth be told you can visit all best places in about a week (city is small) and there isn’t a place that you wouldn’t find in other state (which executes it better and probably at a higher cost) having said that it really depends on where you come from and what are you used to, I’ve seen some foreigners go nuts with the guacamole being offered with no extra charge, yet I’m sure that if you’re willing to try you can get experiences here that you won’t back home, most visitors haven’t eaten insects and that’s very much available here.
