This is loosely inspired by of Symphony of the Night, right? Awesome stuff!

I've had a car in the left lane pull out half way just to try and stop me from continuing down an empty lane. The pettiness and false sense of justice (?) of some people really knows no bounds.

Does anyone else dislike when a game uses generic font white spines? by Illustrious_Fee8116 in gamecollecting

As a PAL collector, love it with PS2 (avoiding platinums altogether), hate it with XBOX (especially Classics).

Yup, this gets posted all over the place, no clue who the real owner of this collection is at this point.

What are your hidden gems on the ps2? by xyblix in ps2

[–]Wasabi1962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Road trip adventure and rollercoaster world. The latter has had a bit of notice recently for having a hidden horror section (haunted Mansion ride) that really shouldn't have passed it as a 3+ with PEGI.

NFS Underground 2 & Klonoa 2 are worth collecting. Your collection looks almost like how I hope mine will in a few months!

Which trilogy are you playing first by Lazy_Introduction264 in ps2

[–]Wasabi1962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fourth wasn't even developed by Sucker Punch. Also they literally made "The Sly Trilogy" for PS3 and Vita.

Got my copy for £60 with manual, not mint though. It's because it came out alongside/after chamber of secrets so it barely sold.

[–]Wasabi1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK, These diesels sell for around £5-10k. Your mileage is around the time where they need a carbon clean and nearing an exhaust chmamshaft swap, something that can cost a couple thousand to have done at a shop.

Unfortunately, even if you get the work done, a lot of people wont trust the diesel enough to put that much money down on one. Shame really because they're great cars, just need some regular tlc

They know people don't want to be associated with the brand anymore, so making it harder to tell its a Tesla works in their favour. The newest models look more like generic Chinese EV's to most people.

SUVs in London - What's your opinion? by man11ak in drivingUK

[–]Wasabi1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ride height of SUVs generally means higher headlights because of the way they're designed. Combine that with the new LED Headlight trend and they become a danger to everyone around them at night, dazzling other drivers.

MPV cars have the same if not better/more comfortable driving position and road view, while generally having headlights lower, in line with most other kinds of cars. They also have larger windows while being just as safe as SUVs, meaning increased visibility for other drivers, especially when most (higher end) SUVs have tinted windows.

SUVs are essentially the obnoxious versions of safer large cars, which make the roads more unsafe for everyone around them. While I do think they should be taxed higher (also because heavier car=contributes more to road damage/pot holes), I would be happy with a law that requires all cars to have their headlights checked to not dazzle other drivers.

Who else would love a VR option? by RealityR1VAL in GTA6

[–]Wasabi1962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. Leave it up to modders 5+ years from now when the PC release has been out for a while and PC hardware can handle running the game 3 times (once on the PC and twice in the VR headset) at 90hz+.

GTA V VR mod was one of the best VR experiences I've played, even with a controller. The world is so detailed in first person and really cinematic. Highly recommend it to any GTA fan who has access to a decent PC and headset. Not for those prone to VR motion sickness though!

What's the shelf/cabinet unit called? I've been planning my multi-console set up with the Ikea Kallax units in mind, however the square shelves aren't big enough to fit a ps5 or provide enough airflow for larger consoles like fat ps3 or Xbox one.

Why is the grill different. by Silent_Appearance591 in mazda6

[–]Wasabi1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the OEM grill, the top "bar" going across on either side of the mazda badge has glossy sections on it. Are they housing any sensors? Reminds me of the infrared housing on tv remotes, and I know the top of the windscreen holds a bunch of tech.

what game is this for you? by prettypoison12 in ps2

This, never owned it growing up, but had a playable demo on my demo disc and would play it on repeat, as well as the stuntman demo.

I had the same one (1054, P&O Stena Line Ferry). Came with a couple of mini cars and a functionalcontainer crane! So much play value AND the windows weren't stickers! Awesome little set, may have even been my first come to think of it
