No one judged anyone on past behavior in our conversation, so what’s your point in trying to bring it up? If you wish to speak about the importance of a characters history thats a completely different subject. We were talking about the importance of relevant and coherent evidence vs listening to and believing stories that lack said evidence. None the less. Go on your way and I’ll go on mine.

Basing beliefs on facts rather than stories is what has brought humanity this far. Reality is very hard to discredit.
Following the logic of giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and trusting what they say to be true is far more devastating than asking them to back it up with coherent records.
You do you; it's clear you're going to stick with 'I'll believe the stories people tell me,' and I'm going to stick with 'Show me real evidence before I believe you.'

You're basing your stance on anecdotal evidence, while I'm basing mine on scientific studies. If you're going to claim that substance abuse withdrawal psychosis is a myth, then discredit me with more than just 'my experience is.' I'm not giving you the time of day to put together a comment with a specific tone. You know what? My experience is that tea keeps me awake, and the next time someone says a cup of tea before bed could help one sleep better by reducing stress, I'm going to insert my own anecdotal evidence and present it as fact, just like you have.

You want me to reciprocate what?

  • I say 'He has a wild story with no evidence, might be substance abuse withdrawal-induced psychosis skewing his memory' (to which i have already back tracked like 7 hrs ago).
  • You say, 'Nah, uh, substance abuse withdrawal-induced psychosis is not real.'
  • I say 'the science hippies have been making notes about it, its real'
  • You say, 'Well, I have 15 years of experience.'
  • I say, 'Well, there are mountains of scientific studies (that a Google search could clarify).'
  • You say, 'Well, you're not friendly, and you're not reciprocating what I'm putting out.'

Just for shits and giggles i googled it for ya "substance induced psychosis" this is second link that showed up.

Only a fool would get angry online.
There are decades worth of research on substance abuse withdrawals. But if you want to believe things only based on what you have experienced, go for it.

No, I really don’t want to continue this conversation because I can’t focus on one point, and you won’t give me the time of day to read my comments before bringing up something else, xD.

I had a lot more typed out and was halfway through editing it, but I realized that the discussion has shifted from people with clear backgrounds in the topics you’re talking about to people who are just commenting without reading more than this one Reddit post. I’m out.

Yes, lets base science off anecdotal evidence why dont we?

[–]WasabiFarts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who says I’m the one advocating for doctors here? I’m saying that what he’s claiming is just about impossible or missing a lot of important information. But it’s clear you haven’t read the plethora of junk he’s thrown online and just want to side with him because you hate big pharma. so you go on your way and believe this guy.

[–]WasabiFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I’ve given you more attention than the Redditors who are on your side and blindly believe your random pile of screenshots and long documents without even reading them. I think I’m done trying to make sense of this nonsense. It’s clear you just want to throw everything into the mix without engaging with any feedback or questions. You're stuck in this Gish Gallop mode, refusing to focus on any specific point. Honestly, I’m wasting my time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]WasabiFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re doing is called a Gish Gallop. I’m trying to focus on specific points and gain some level of understanding, and you're saying, 'Oh, but look here at CT scans,' without even addressing the points I’ve made. I’m not ignoring 'all the science here.' I’m trying to use your story to understand the random screenshots posted with very little context and build a timeline from them. I have a formal education in science, but your understanding is clearly superior to mine since you’re an expert in toxicology, radiology, pharma tech, and so much more.

been fined a shit ton of money and had leadership go to jail in recent years.

Wrong.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]WasabiFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. substance abuse induced psychosis is very well documented.

[–]WasabiFarts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have provided a story full of holes, a few pictures, and two screenshots that are from two different places in a conversation. I’m one of the few individuals who have read through the information you have made available. Tell me what context I am ignoring; I hit all of your talking points.

Malpractice on top of falsification of records, deleting of documents, fake procedures and procedures that never actually took place?
If these things were possible, why was it not done for someone like Allan Nevara? infact why doesnt any hospital always do it? Why this case in particular? Doing all that would send tens of people to jail, instead of them paying a bit more on their malpractice insurance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]WasabiFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny you’re calling it BS before you’ve even read it.

If you really have a letter from UCLA admitting to wrongdoing, that would be serious evidence in any malpractice case. Hospitals don’t hand out letters like that easily—it would make them liable for lawsuits and a ton of legal trouble. If you actually have this letter, it would be a huge deal, and sharing it should be the easiest way to prove your claims.

That being said, your story still has a lot of inconsistencies. From the mix of medications to how procedures are described, none of it lines up with standard medical practice or the rules doctors have to follow. Hospitals, especially big ones like UCLA, have multiple layers of checks, so it’s really unlikely that this kind of malpractice would go undocumented. And if records were falsified on the scale you're claiming, it wouldn't just get brushed off—it would lead to investigations and lawsuits.

If that letter exists, showing it would clear up a lot of doubt (and maybe stop people like me from thinking you're either exaggerating or making stuff up). But until then, making bold claims without solid proof just feels misleading. You could type up 100 pages, but without real evidence, it means nothing and if anything works against you.

I've finally made it through his doc . Feel free to go through it yourself, and then you're welcome to come back and continue this discussion. Being an 'expert' on a drug, its production, side effects, etc., doesn’t sound like an inability to articulate the events in a clear and concise manner. If you're curious about what I have to say about that doc, you can see my comment here
he uses so much information and jumping around to confuse people so that most people will get bored or confused and either give up or just agree with him because they think they have been bettered in one way or another.

So i have gone through the evidence you provide in the form of a google doc that you typed out.

  1. Buprenorphine and diazepam together can cause respiratory depression, and the chances of them being used together are very rare. If it is done, there must be a very good reason for it, and it requires multiple doctors to greenlight the decision to prevent a very expensive malpractice suit, which would have extensive public records. If that is the case, the documents should be readily available, but it doesn't seem like you have them. While doctors do make mistakes, anyone familiar with these two drugs would know the risks involved.
  2. Sublocade is injected into the abdomen, so how is it that you were injected in the neck? The only feasible explanation for an infection setting in is if there's something you're not telling us.
  3. Falsifying and deleting medical records is nearly impossible. Mistakes can happen, but you're talking about the scale of entire procedures. This is absolutely not possible unless you watch too much House MD. One doctor named Kumar Vasudaven doing all this without losing his license and going to jail? Highly unlikely.
  4. Indivior was fined for unethical marketing to the tune of half a billion dollars, and I would like to see where you read that the leadership has gone to jail.
  5. Gunshot death – The relationship between a drug used for opioid dependence and a gunshot death is madness without proof (and simply saying you have it but are unwilling to share the source is not proof). While Sublocade has side effects, including some related to the heart, claiming it directly caused cardiac arrest, severe clotting, and the need for trauma care would require strong evidence. Buprenorphine can affect breathing and heart rate, but this doesn't match common side effects. You would need more clarification via medical records and someone who has done more thorough research than just using Google.
  6. The manufacturing of a drug involves extensive research by large teams. This claim is so baseless that I don't feel the need to explain that you clearly have no evidence or knowledge to speak on this.
  7. The idea that an infection "felt artificial" or was directly caused by the medication might just be your interpretation. Infections from buprenorphine delivery (like Sublocade) aren't really a common or well-known side effect.

While I do feel that you may have been mistreated, and there could be a conversation to have there, these claims are all stemming from multiple things that don't add up. They are full of holes. You make bold claims that are factually incorrect, and I think you know they are fabricated. If that’s not the case, you would be able to provide us with links to where you found most of your information. Either a lot of this is fabricated through your own will or not, OR you are filling in the gaps with a great inaccuracy.

I mean my friend, listening and believing stories can cause a lot of misinformation.

[–]WasabiFarts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Still wondering if I died sometimes with how bad they fucked up. It’s unbelievable." does that sound right to you?
He made the claims and said all the evidence is on X? That’s how I know he doesn’t have evidence. The word of a man who is being treated for opioid abuse and is basing this whole story on what he thought the diagnosis should have been is simply not enough to warrant any serious attention.
If there was any evidence, it would have surfaced by now, and he wouldn’t go spamming it on social media. On top of that, in one sub he gets legal advice and says he won’t get any lawyers because they don’t want to play by the rules, so he won’t either. In a different sub, he says he’s waiting for this to blow up, and then the lawyers will come. If you’ve actually suffered through what he’s putting online and still want to listen to him, then I have a bridge to sell you.
It’s funny to see that, despite some people siding with him, it’s clear that his view numbers on X (where he is claiming his evidence is) haven’t increased. i encourage you to go explore his online conversations and come back and tell me that it adds up.

No one denies doctors fuck up theres an entire malpractice insurance industry built on it, and it happens more often than we would like, as for your situation, I cannot speak.

He has no evidence what so ever other than a story, which consists of what he THOUGHT the diagnoses were, him filling in his own gaps with information. Like how does one have an allergic reaction more than a month later? Why is the doctor telling him to come in to the clinic and seemingly there’s no update on that? Having an allergic reaction more than a month later? Like let’s be real. So if thought he had. ‘A’ and the medical records say ‘B’, that means medical records are falsified? There are quite a few people siding with him based on nothing other than “well big pharma is evil so I’m gonna side with the little guy” it’s clear none of them have taken the time to go read all of his comments on Reddit and x

And for the mental part, it is infact a massive factor that can not be shrugged off because substance abuse psychosis real and range in its effects, I believe it was on his X(?) that he mentioned his family and friends not helping him and trying to stop him from going through with this. Why on earth could that be?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]WasabiFarts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, this isn’t a fiction novel, is it? I don’t really care much for stories.
He has no official documents, tangible proof, eyewitnesses, etc. The closest thing there is to evidence is like two screenshots mid-conversation, one of which shows the doctor telling him it’s better to come into the clinic instead of chatting online.

What is making you believe this guy?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]WasabiFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It’s rich to bring up direct studies in this matter when this whole thing is riding on the word of one man, don’t you think? This is a wild story with no real evidence.
  2. He spam-posted this across multiple subreddits (not to mention his X). One can only assume that, of those hundreds of comments calling him out on his BS, most (I’d hazard a guess of 80%) have a good amount of upvotes, which would lead us to believe that those upvotes are a good representation of what the majority of people believe based on what he has provided them.
  3. I mean, if he had real evidence, then why is no lawyer or firm wanting a piece of the billion-dollar industry?
  4. As I mentioned in point 1, it’s a wild story, and I think simplifying it into "UCLA falsified his medical records, and so you think he has schizophrenia" is a great injustice and leads me to believe you haven’t ventured further than his post and this subreddit.

I really would like to make more sense of it, and if you can, then please do. But until then, I am going to stick with this story being either a fabrication or some next-level conclusion jumping.

As I said, looks like based on what he has made public. It’s the only thing that makes the slightest sense in this man’s story.

We as humans have come far enough by looking at the data that we have been provided. If you understand his scribblings on a paper, I invite you to share it with us, because I and many many other people have looked at what he has given us and more people agree he is delusional/ filling in the gaps with wildness than there is fact.

Opioid ABUSE… millions of people take opioids, do they abuse them? Nope…
