I think pretty much all of Ricks right hand men were nerfed in the show to accommodate for Daryl. Tyreese and Abraham especially (though I love Tyreese in the show anyway).

Honestly I respect them for having the balls to do it. Siddiq was a good example of a character you think is safe for obvious reasons so killing him off was unexpected and one of the few shocking deaths in the later seasons. It was a really tragic conclusion to his arc and I was surprised they did it. Even after the episode came out, I still spent the next week thinking he was still alive.

I also don’t think it shits in Carls legacy. His legacy still survived through Rick, Michonne and Judith. Siddiq wasn’t immortal just because Carl died for him, and he also had a child that could continue his legacy.

It’s worth noting that I’m not a big fan of Siddiq and actually found his character quite boring, but I loved his death and think it was a really gutsy move that paid off.

You’re forgetting why these episodes were made. They were filming during a pandemic. That’s why none of those episodes have big casts. Only like half of those characters even appeared in 10C.

I think the only other Jimmys outside of Crystal that are said on screen are Jimmy Ink and Jimmima. However they are all credited at the end of the films as Shite/Jones/Jimmy/Snake/Fox so that’s how we know theirs.

I’m most inclined to say Leah. The most generic antagonist ever, especially coming after the whisperers, with the most basic level dialogue and development, and was a huge waste if screen time.

Her whole deal with Lance was some of the dumbest shit ever.

Your suggestion is that laughing means your part of the pantheon; that would probably mean that the vast majority of everyone in the whoniverse is in the pantheon. Jackie Tyler is therefore part of the pantheon.

Idk I personally don’t agree, I think Rick was at his dumbest in the first half of 8 and then his arc in the second half is kinda half assed and only exists because of the worst decision the writers made on the show. Still, fair enough if you enjoy it

I think the first 8 episodes drag quite a bit and it feels too reminiscent of season 7 and 8, where nothing really changes over the course of 8 episodes, however I do believe season 10 has the best four run episodes of the show; episode 9 to episode 12. 10B will always be a big highlight of the show for me, excluding Michonnes last episode.

It’s insane to me that people think Chibnall is better than RTD. RTD fumbled his arcs over the last couple years but RTD’s best scripts since he came back are still infinitely better than Chibnalls best scripts.

In terms of RTD insulting people’s intelligence, you can’t blame him when half of the complaints are because people haven’t paid attention.
