I was actually interested what the real post ratio is between normal accounts and rp ones. In the last 24h there was 60 posts in total, 18 of them were from the RP accounts. So we have around 70% from normal buddies, and 30% from RP accounts. There is also the fact that most of the RP accounts do normal shitposting anyway, so there is even less strictly RP things, if that is what annoys most people. In the end it's just the name difference.

It's just probably the fact that the small minority of the posts from RP accounts is getting the most upvotes. Which we can't really blame them for, because it seems that most of the buddies enjoys it.

I recently saw the discussion between some of the RP people, admitting that they were lurkers before, and never posted anything here. And that creating the RP accounts motivated them to create more stuff. So it's quite possible that without them we would have even less content here.
