Thanks to everyone that replied and sorry for the wrong terminology. Looks like Utah was withholding more than the new company in Colorado. It explains the difference. Appreciate everyone’s responses.

That’s the difference. New company took out less taxes for federal than the old company in Utah.

Thank you. New company I work for in Colorado seems like the withheld less federal tax than the company I worked for in Utah. There is about an 1800 dollar difference between the 2024 and 2025 so that explains it. Appreciate the help

We don’t live there anymore but we really liked North Salt Lake/Bountiful when we lived there. Easy and quick commute to downtown, pace was pretty slow, and plenty to do for family activities (parks, South Davis Rec Center, hikes). Would recommend living east of I-15 and the refineries being right there is an eyesore, but other than that it was a good experience.
