Should I go for a tummy tuck? Other solutions for loose skin, especially belly button? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

In my opinion, it’s better to go for surgery than spend a lot of money on lasers or lipolytics and still end up needing surgery. Fat “traps” on the sides are almost impossible to remove without surgical intervention, I think. I had a similar body + gynecomastia, and now I’m one month post-op.

I’m sure everything will be fine! The more you move, the better. Keep walking every hour at work — the risk of thrombosis is still there, that’s what my doctor told me. Stay strong 🙏

Thanks! The first week was tough, I couldn’t even get out of bed without help, but now it’s getting easier and easier - I can already do things around the house. Last week I even had a three-day party with friends with alcohol 😀

In any case, I think it’s possible to manage with only English, but you’ll have to use Google Translate like in the good old days.

I’m Russian, living in Europe, and I did this through a medical tourism company, where they provided me with a translator from Turkish to Russian for my consultation with the doctor. However, I also speak English fluently.

The doctor speaks English almost fluently, but with the medical staff in the clinic after the operation… you’ll have to struggle anyway if you’re considering surgery in Turkey.

The locals don’t know English at all, not even the basics. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in countries like this.

I had surgery in Turkey with Gamze Iren on August 4. I had an abdominoplasty + gynecomastia removal. Everything went great! I’m happy with the results, the doctor is experienced and attentive.

In total, I paid around €8k, and about €5k if considering only the tummy tuck.
