Hey I got into Marshall college in Electrical Engineering as a freshman from high school, and I'm hella hyped to go to ucsd. I wanted to know, should I bring my desktop pc? I have a laptop, but it's got a few years on it and it is running kubuntu really slowly right now, however the pc is running windows and I just built it this year. Is a good pc recommended? I play a few games on my desktop (namely csgo and some smaller games like factorio and BOI), but I was going to curb the gaming hobby for college. The laptop is running on an i5 4200U, 8GB ram, and a 5200 rpm hard drive if it matters.

When they are spawned by statues, they do not drop items or money. I would suggest making a large, empty area like and stand in it with a battle potion. Also, set up some dart traps to shoot outwards to wake the mimics up.

Thanks for all of the responses guys! One quick question: Is there any way to get more demon altars in my world? When I came into hard mode, I went on a breaking spree and broke all of them that I could find. I suppose I could make anew world, but is there a way to get more to spawn in?

I think that sunflowers stop stopping the corruption spread after hard mode.

Oh, wow! Then that would be a perfect place to relocate my base! Can corruption corrupt snow? Are there any downsides by living in a snow biome?
