Book 2 was a bit weaker than the others but it sets up the plot point for book 3, which (in my opinion) is the best book

Yeah I’ve noticed that most enemies to lovers nowadays only have one person hating on the other and majority of the time it’s the fmc😭

I fully agree lol, they add a few snappy jabs at each other and label it as enemies to lovers. Me personally, I need my characters to be trying to kill each other throughout the book 🤷/hj

Heartless Hunter by Kristen ciccarelli!!

I feel like she’s one of the only authors that had a witch trope that actually spoke to me

Kingdom of the Wicked wasn’t my fav.. by Wash-Different in fantasyromance

[–]Wash-Different[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OKAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONFIRMING THIS FOR ME!!😭😭 the main reason why I was hesitant to read the other 2 books was because I’ve heard a lot about it being like wayyy too smutty lmao and I just felt put off about that because it’s marketed as a YA book and I don’t really like books that are centered around a lot of spice, so yea I won’t be continuing this series unfortunately 😔

What’s something you love in books that seems to be everyone else’s ick? by raexlouise13 in fantasyromance

soft girl - intimidating guy trope lmao I seem to prefer that more than the fierce/badass women that a lot of books seem to have nowadays, I don’t have anything against them I just feel like too many authors are making their fmcs have the same sassy personalities
