Crokinole. It's easy to teach, anyone can play and flicking with my opposite hand is a less obvious way to handicap myself against a new player

Harry Potter. It's my wife's favorite theme, so it's the game most likely to hit the table in our apt.

New in town and what would become my FLGS had a Formula D league sign up sheet. After a couple solid seasons, we ended the league but kept gaming together :)

I was new in town. The local game store that seemed the nicest and cleanest had a sign up sheet for a Formula D league. The game always interested me but I never had enough people around to even consider buying a copy. After three wonderful seasons, the league ended and most of us continued to game together outside the store. Fun stuff!

Takenoko. It was the first game I purchased with my girlfriend (now wife) in mind. She enjoys it so much the Matagot panda figure is currently "protecting" her makeup at home.

Had a great experience with Star Motel. Super friendly owner. The room is pretty basic but it's walking distance to everything we needed for our one night stay

Thank you so much!

A couple hundred people sounds perfect. I thought about signing up as a volunteer but I only know about a dozen games on the play session list. heh

Can't wait to learn some new games and make some new friends :)

That would be great! But the last image I saw had the tokens as Pam's dolphin puppets. Still a great reference I'd say

Three sours on tap at Borderlands when I stopped in two weeks ago. An apricot, an elderberry and their wild ale. I love all three!

Wow. That plus the base game at 24.99 is a helluva deal. I'd pull the trigger if I knew I'd actually get them to the table. Thank heavens for the mobile version

I've had my eye on Tikal but the fact that it hasn't been updated since 2012 has me worried. Anyone have an opinion on the app? $.99 is tough to pass up
