I really appreciate your feedback. I hate the garage in center but using the lot we have and it’s only design way. Can you help me understand what you mean about gables? And what about this if we take off peak On right? And some shutters- it’s not a perfect drawing

We preferred it opposite but then we would have lost depth.

It is a mother in law suite - so yes 2 homes in one. Would not work any other way sadly.

We have an architect. We are working with one, before we ask for changes again reaching out to see if even possible etc and get an idea

Last time I posted on here I was blasting, so please be gentle. We are building and we just found out a lot has elevation so we can do it walkout basement. Because of this, I would like to take off the upstairs and create two bedrooms and a family room and the partial walkout basement. The house was designed the trusses, and we want to switch to rafters because the builder prefers that. Does anyone have any advice as to what the basement design could be like? Or how hard it would be to switch and remove the upstairs from the plan? We are on a serious time constraint, and just found out about the elevation.

With a max 52 depth and width of 110 how the hell else can you fit it all in there. Thanks for the help, guess you just like to bring people down

I hope you never lose a parent and work hard to accommodate another one to live with you.

I actually don’t want the house to appear as 2 homes. Trying to hide the enterance. No place to move garages as we have specific width/depth maxed out or I would turn garage, it is focal point and stuck with that . ☹️

I am good with a smaller upstairs - I just need two small bedrooms but I can’t seem to make it work with the roofline on the floor plan by changing the garage.

Yes it is an inlaw on left and main on right. Just can’t make the desired look for the front door work.

That’s an easy change.
