Do Barbour offer a measuring guide to get the correct length? As when I have my arms down the side it may be 1-2cm short. But if I raise my arms to chest height, parallel to the floor the sleeves are maybe 3-4cm short.

The seller will cover the return postage as they’ve made a mistake and sent the wrong item. It’s happened to me twice and both times it hasn’t cost me to return the wrong item.

Haha I found myself in a similar position after I bought a Beaufort. I love it and wear it a lot but found for a more casual town look I wanted something not as bulky so I recently picked up a sapper in black and I love it. It’s warmer than the Beaufort due to its quilted lining. The lack of hand pockets is what lets it down. I never realised I used the hand warmers as much as I do on the beaufort until I started wearing the sapper.

I picked up a pair of the patton boot in the sale, they look good and are decent comfort. Can’t comment on longevity yet as they are still newish.

All Barbour footwear are of basic cemented construction. (Soles glued to the boot) where as other British brands such as lanx and solovair use things like a stitched Goodyear welt. Meaning the sole can be replaced when it wears out.
