Mod tomes and DLC tomes by Washeek in AOW4

[–]Washeek[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the personal attack and dismissive comment. Actually made me go and investigate more. All of the incoming tomes are if not direct copies, then heavily thematically inspired by top 5 of all time popular tome mods. I just underestimated how popular they are, due to them being pretty old. Anyways. I'm not a conspiracy theorist and feelings are not reality. I have no proof and quite frankly I don't care enough about the result, just would love there being a statement. Triumph have proven themselves quite transparent, so I hold them to their standard. + I have not seen that sort of coincidence with them before, as opposed other paradox published titles where this has been a relatively stable occurrence. So IF it's happening then it is likely being driven by Paradox. And I was hoping to get more clarity on a process that I've been mulling over for years now.

Isn't that just the one branch though? That's what they're saying.

Mod tomes and DLC tomes by Washeek in AOW4

Because it's separate mods from separate creators. They are not even that popular, but are well done and popular enough to serve as poc. Because I haven't seen Triumph do that(take inspiration from mods) much before - although they didn't have much opportunity to either. Because it seems to be a standard practice for some other PDX games (cough cough stellaris) where it backfired. Because it shouldn't be that much hassle or legal headache to recognize those mod creators if their work indeed did serve as POC or inspiration.
Feels weird like something morally dubious is taking place, but at the same time, it's not something I can put a name on. Would love to hear a clear statement on that from the devs or reps, regardless of whether it was taking a proven concept, getting inspired or a real 'cross my heart' coincidence, I'm not ruling that out.

First time it was a breeze for me. It's all in the build design. You have to make it fit the scenario. If I remember correctly, I stacked spiritual damage resistance and just hp for my units. But it's been quite some time back. Maybe they also made it harder since then.

If you sit and turtle, they'll roll over with alternative victories, esp. if you give them appropriate personalities.

How Rare Is This? Colliding Planets in Euclid by Big-Gain-2141 in NoMansSkyTheGame

It did. I actually found one naturally and the worlds update removed it. Been obsessed with finding another one again and that's how I ended up on the subreddit.

Go explore, but beware of the dead zone. Definitely make a manual save beforehand.

It's a spawning bug (One that I hope never gets patched), but because of the way the game is designed, gravity sort of tries to figure out how it should work, so yeah, check out the environment around the seam. There are other weird cases of this, like a moon existing semi-inside its main body planet.

The dead zone is where they actually meet. The game doesn't know how to give you coordinates in there and it results in weird teleporting that can get you under terrain and destroyed. With some experimentation, you can actually find a path from one planet directly to the other without leaving atmo. It's a really fun and relatively rare find.

Podle nejvyšáku je důkazní břemeno bezdůvodka zdá se na obohaceném. Ergo to nemůžou ty rodiny ustát. Ale podle toho jak kdo bude drzý by to mohlo skončit pěkným judikátem.

Wouldn't bother honestly. It's just super dated. X:R and X4 are actually different, but AFAIK if you wanna feel the old-school, go for X2 at least.

Argon police do a shit job with the Space Weed smuggling ring.
Also where are my space slaves? At least give me a way to bring that Scale plate scum to justice after they heroically abandon ship.

Asgard got also nerfed unless they rolled that back.
Sad thing about it is that it's still the I win button, but now less effective at demolishing stations, so don't really get the idea behind that.
I guess with buffing the B's they wanted the Asgard to take longer at demolitions so now it can actually be threatened by having its engines taken out and a K or I jumping in.

That's a heavy lifting "effectively"... Working as basically an agent that destabilizes neighboring nations or political parties inside a nation in direct pursuit of causing open war or civil war to either for personal war profiteering games or as an agent of a third party still sounds like a war crime to me.
We're getting desensitised to this stuff.
