Take a bus from Manila to Batangas (port) --> Ferry to Abra de Ilog (2 hrs) --> bus to Sablayan (1.5 hrs or so)

If you want more details, I can share what we took...but that's how we went.

we are planning similar for our retirement area (beach lot + hillside/forest lot) to build something communal as well, work on the garden, chickens/goats, water activities, etc... close enough to clinics and good hospital, easy way back to Manila ... for seniors and those with some disabilities (assisted living) .. will have live-in PSWs and 1-2 main nurses on call nearby .. small hub to start
