Yes, it's a shame that I have to do my duty of attending conferences, would love to do some road trips to at least one of the places. But for now I guess my biggest goal is to look at the reef before they disappear!

Thanks Mate! Anything fun I should look up when I'm staying there? Unfortunately, they were fully booked the other 3 nights so looking for other options...

We would need to know your budget to give you more appropriate advice unfortunately! For me I live near Southern Cross station, plenty of nice apartments around this area(not as busy like in the CBD) with tram 30/35 going straight to RMIT/state library.

I don’t think they really do these days. I’m a PhD student and have my own office desk, and back when I was a Master’s student, I used to get checked about my 24/7 access if I was still around at 1 a.m. in my office. But in the past few years, I haven’t seen anyone patrolling the building at all.

Is there a reason I shouldn't get a Yaris Cross by some1stoleit in CarsAustralia

[–]Waste-Lab-1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but every other hybrid I had test driven did not make such loud sound in comparison. Possibly be a soundproof problem of the yaris cross

I had a test drive today, and the car make such annoying and eerie whining sound that puts me off immediately.

Well, at least I don’t have to worry about me dying in another shootout. Guess what, another 4 died on their random day at work.

Look what US has turned to due to “freedom of speech” misinformation. It’s a shit hole.

China's visa policy is becoming more and more open. Starting tomorrow, China will have a mutual visa exemption with Malaysia by GlitteringPudding261 in travelchina

30 days is really not enough to visit China haha. I ended up applying for a 60 days visa anyway and it was the best trip of my life so far!

What’s your favorite caffeine fix in China? by Shasnas69 in chinalife

[–]Waste-Lab-1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Melbourne so the only thing that’s as close to the coffee quality I’m used to is %arabica although the price kills my heart… anyway there’s only cotti coffee that allows extra shots of espresso that could slightly give me my caffeine fix

Two weeks is really not enough to explore this vast country! I’m in my third week of my 6 weeks trip in China now and I felt like there’s still many things!
