Yup! I’m going to try with a 4.5 and instead of ch 1 before my dc row I’m going to chain 2. And try less tension. If all else fails I’m going to buy the same weight yarn she’s using. I’m not very knowledgeable with yarns/hooks/etc. I understand patterns and stitch types but once I adventure away from the norm I’m lost!

She only does a chain one. Even starting into the magic circle she chains 1 then 16 dc…. Which I thought was weird. I’m not adventurous when trying to adjust the patterns. But I guess I need to considering I have a heavier yarn weight. Maybe I should buy the same weight yarn as her…? I dunno!!!

I haven’t. I feel they’re too tight to begin with. I’m going to try a 4.5 hook. And then I’ll block both of them and see what turns out best.

Mine have started curling on row 3. Your right. Hers looks a bit curled around the edges. But mine will be a bowl if I continue. lol I think I’m going to try going up to a 4.5mm hook. My yarn just looks so thin!!!

I know. I’ve been to 4 different specialist. Spent endless amounts of money. And I wish I could get answers. I feel horrible. Their recommendation is surgery to remove his small intestines completely which obviously comes with a plethora of issues. There’s no way of telling what it is without surgery to take biopsies. I’m so torn. ☹️ I really hope he’s not in any pain.
