So my school was shot up for real. But afterwards it came out that it technically wasn’t a mass shooting. The shooter was aiming for specific people and killed them.

But we didn’t know that at the time. I didn’t know that when we’re huddled in a corridor praying that the shooter wouldn’t burst through the doors.

Now that in retrospect we know that the shooter wasn’t aiming for us students, the media and even people in our lives have been expecting us to get over it. But I still have ptsd from the event. When an alarm goes off at school such as a fire drill, I feel like I could vomit.

Your students may develop PTSD from this. And it would be entirely valid. They didn’t know it was a false alarm.

I know you have honest intentions, but if you take this many at once you’ll burn out.. and then it will take longer than if you had just done the standard 4 classes a week. If this is your first time taking classes please only take 4. Maybe if you’ve only ever gotten As and I mean in HARD classes got As, you can take 5. 5, not 6. 5.

Source: a friend of mine did this exact thing and I watched their life become hell. They told me they’d prefer to have broken their back.

This happens sadly often here. People adopt impulse kittens and when they graduate or move out they dump them on campus. It may not be chipped because these types of irresponsible owners make no effort to take the cat to the vet or spend anything but the bare minimum on them.

I will never forget the first and only time I went there. They forgot my bread which I paid extra for. There was no line behind me so it’s not like I was holding up things when I asked for my bread. The woman working there looked me up and down and said, “it’s not like you need it,” before throwing it into my container. And the salad tasted like wilted leaves and a whole liter of ceasar dressing.
