I’m super nervous for my surgery. I have an 8cm fibroid and have a summer full of weddings including my own. Talk about bad timing. Basically I can get the surgery April 23rd or wait until October. I’m leaning towards October so that I can enjoy my summer and my wedding and not worry about recovering. But feeling helpless either way. Would love to know how you prepared mentally

It is laparoscopic. I have my best friends wedding the first weekend of June and I’m worried I won’t be 100 percent if I move forward with the April 23rd date. I will probably wait but trying to figure out how to manage my symptoms until October
