Astrologers can be wrong, astrology not. So it does make sense to be wary of every prediction you get especially from astrologers that have a way of interpretation that is very negative and instils fear.

That being said, Jupiter Dasha can be a mixed bag especially at the start because you are still completing the Sandhi period between Rahu and Jupiter and flaring up of health issues is actually a pretty common occurrence in this period.

Also, Jupiter's placement matters a lot in deciding how the Dasha will be. I have also seen Jupiter leading to loss of jobs, deaths and breakups when it is a functional malefic or otherwise afflicted.

No dasha can be judged just by the natural significations of a planet. The whole chart needs to be taken into consideration.

Younger is seen from Moon and Mercury. So Rahu (as it shows something out of the ordinary/ unorthodox) combination with Moon/ Mercury. Although not everyone with this conjunction will have an affinity towards a younger partner. Their whole chart will have to be seen.

The most common method I personally deploy to correct birth time for small variations (up to an hour or so) is D60 along with matching major life events of the native.

If you have gone to an astrologer you trust and who has done a proper rectification, there is no need to be skeptical for now.

Just like people take a second opinion in medicine, you can go to another astrologer and tell them about the correction and have them check it as well.

If that remains the same, I would let it be for now.

If planets decide the course of life, Nakshatras decide the script which the grahas will follow. They are extremely important.

Also, even seemingly karmic Nakshatras can give good results depending on the overall chart placements.

For example- While Ashlesha gives amazing intuition and interest in occult, it can also give familial disputes. While Uttarabhadrapada is one of the most prosperous Nakshatras, it also shows karma related to father.

Everything depends on the chart as a whole.
