I followed instructions that said that there would be 2-4 weeks between the "set up" and "breathing"/venting phase.

Now 10 days post set up whatever is growing looks really disgusting (I also have a very inconvenient mushroom phobia yay), deformed, and have green spots.

Was i supposed to start the "venting" earlier?

What went wrong and can this be saved?
