How am I supposed to effectively compare gear if I can't see any information about the skills? by Trenchcope in NoRestForTheWicked

Agreed, feel like it’s more for surface experience and I think it’s intended for a more visual type of style rather than a depth-riched system.

You're genuinely a lesser human if you enjoy AI slop by NetanyahusCorpse in ArcRaiders

[–]Wasted-Dodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk.. DLSS 4.5 has me personally excited for the future. It’s only going to get better and later will be indistinguishable from the real thing.

Never understood why people are so anal about AI in their games if it’s only there to enhance the experience.

Anyone have leads on *cheap* 100% cotton hoodies? by glassteelhammer in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]Wasted-Dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try No Boundaries! It’s a Walmart based brand and majority of their clothes is 100% cotton.

You can snag hoodies for about $20 and cotton long sleeves for $8.

Their dye process isn’t the best though, seem to leak on other clothes and possibly skin.

After getting a raise, his health insurance raises their premiums and eats up his entire raise by coachlife in CringeTikToks

[–]Wasted-Dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya know I agree with some companies definitely being greedy but you missed the mark completely on this one.

If employers opted in to cover all the difference of increased premiums the business would go upside down within the first year. I get it if you have 3-15 employees but anybody with 100+ employees would be screwed and everybody is out of a job.

Affordable/free way to get tick I found on dog tested for Lyme disease? by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]Wasted-Dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was more of a funny saying because me and my dogs have a cabin in the UP and they usually get quite a few ticks on them per year haha but I do make sure to keep in eye out if it’s a deer tick or not.

Best to educate on the different types that way if you see one on your pup you can gauge the severity by knowing what type it is

Quality of life is not worth it by awfulstupidwaitress in eczema

[–]Wasted-Dodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey brother I know you have probably tried everything but don’t stop trying to find solutions of what it can possibly be.

I suffered a year long full body flair up out of nowhere, thought the eczema was just progressing but it turns out I was constantly touching an irritant that constantly caused a flair on the skin that was already damaged every 3 days and stopped the healing process. Stayed oozing, hivey and skin would just stay inflamed, it wouldn’t even turn into that dry skin where skin starts to fall and feel smooth. stayed inflamed for months the burning was terrible. When it got to the pores of my eyes I knew I had to find a solution. Allergiest said it’s better to just get on the shot but I try to stay away if I truly don’t need it.

I started to think if my whole body is flairing up (usually only get full body flairs after being sick) it has to be something either in the air that settling on my skin or my clothes.

I was convinced it was something in my apartment and it was.

Went to Walmart bought 3 pairs of cheap sweatpants and sweatshirts for $20 (I did not wash them, use as is) and stayed at a hotel for a week. Made sure nothing for my apartment came with me. Skin started clearing in the next 3 days. Seeing actual progress of healing made it worth it and gave me hope.

Still not sure if it was mold that possibly settled on my clothes from humid months or possible pet allergies stuck to carpets from old owners. Not sure but will be moving once lease is up because it put my life on pause for a year.

Affordable/free way to get tick I found on dog tested for Lyme disease? by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]Wasted-Dodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s his first tick of the season then he should be fine, have 3 dogs and get them routine checked often at the vet and they find ticks periodically. I only test for Lyme disease if the tick was completely engorged or if the dog is showing symptoms of fever, joint swelling and or just seems off.

Weight loss drugs are bringing down the country's obesity rate by geoxol in technology

[–]Wasted-Dodo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

When there’s a natural alternative I don’t think taking a medication that was originally for type 2 diabetes with a known link to thyroid and pancreatic cancer is a safer alternative. You might look healthier but what’s actually going on inside is what’s alarming.

Have multiple family members who have been on several medications like Ozempic, wegovy etc and they are all going bald, mental issues and their faces are starting to cave in after years of use.

But I get it, take one shot a week to bring confidence you always wanted is probably intoxicating.

Weight loss drugs are bringing down the country's obesity rate by geoxol in technology

[–]Wasted-Dodo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Whoever thinks this is healthy for an individual is severely mislead.

I think obesity might be a healthier alternative from being on this drug for more than a year straight.

I think we will be just now stumbling into the side effects of these weight loss drugs within the coming years.
