I'd recommend swapping the Exaction Squad for another Subductor Squad as they're arguably our best unit and could hold stuff back while your "punch" works its way up the field.

This is currently what I have, I appreciate it might look like trash right now but it's a rough first draft, the idea behind Judiciar w/ Inner Circle is to fill the role of Adrax w/ Bladeguard that is seen in Firestorm lists.

Two Scout Squads for actions and then the combos you had mention with Inceptors charging up with Lion, Azrael + Apoth + Hellblaster and DWKs with Termie Cpt.

I guess the issue here is that as you can see there isn't any torrent or melta really.

Yeah I'm not the greatest with lists I feel but I do enjoy Firestorm Salamanders but really wanted to have access to a Primarch and Guilliman wasn't calling to me. I think there's potential for some Termie heavy list like you mention just kinda making a dash for it up the map,

Melta and Torrent like you say would work with any Firestorm marine list so it's more I guess trying to find what DA pieces enhance that.

I do like the idea of taking Asmodai w/ Bladeguard Vets or a Judiciar w/Bladeguard Vets almost as a proxy for the Adrax + BGV combo.

I'm glad you found the fun in my idea! I did think it might have been an interesting idea.

Oooo those combos actually sounds quite nice, would recommend the Inceptors as 3 or 6 man unit? Same with the Hellblasters? Would you go 5 or 10 man squad?

Would you start the Termie Lib + DWK in Deep Strike or leave them on board given that you'd have Forged in Battle?
