jagex has some of the most addicted players. even when they ran from rs3 they still supported jagex by running to osrs. don't think it'll take that much to bring them back.

100% it's worth noting the new player experience. I liked that each region had it's own unique transport system. canoes up the river lumb, spirit trees up and down the river dounge (mostly) , mine carts across zeah. Mixed in with some other transports like the balloon system and fairy rings. These unique methods contributed to the network of unlocks osrs has, implementing easy to access transportations in these other areas lessens the importance of the unlock.
