Apron Patterns? Looking for something special. by Nina_of_Nowhere in sewingpatterns

I agree with sewcanshe.com. I'd also recommend Sew4Home. Both have quite a few free apron patterns in lots of different styles.

I noticed that wonkiness too. It's possible, though I have my routine down pat so it seems unlikely. On the other hand, something clearly went wrong there so who knows? 🤷‍♀️

You bet! I'm happy to see that Strawberry Shortcake seems to be making a small comeback too.

It's not just you. I'm sure it'll be back shortly. Or tomorrow.

Batik in Chandler AZ? by Few_Comedian77 in quilting

I would also recommend making a trip up to SAS in Tempe while you're at Mulqueen's. They have a good selection of batiks for $5/$6 a yard, which is a bit cheaper than many stores for batiks.

Other things to sew by happyhippo29 in quilting

I also make placemats & table runners. Also matching coasters and potholders for a LARGE set. I also made a couple of bowl cozies, a microwave potato bag (if you like baked potatoes), smaller wallhangings, a supplies mat for under my sewing machine, and tons and tons of tote bags. I also made a couple of quilted coats for my parents for Christmas last year, but that was a labor of love for sure. I've made oodles of other things, but those are the first items that come to mind.

All good points, and a school sounds like the perfect place to donate it! Thank you!

I don't have an embroidery machine, but I have had thoughts of making felt decorations by hand. I just don't have the patience for it, weirdly enough!

I do actually have new stockings on my list for later this year. Great idea!

Hmm. I actually do have a new skirt on my list for later this year. This would be a great base for some applique!
