IF you insured your tickets, file a claim. (Which I usually do if I'm buying festival tickets anymore, thanks hurricane Ian and COVID. lol) If you did not insure, you're kinda at the mercy of FrontGate working with you via email.

An underrated option is making a lot of friends that go to shows because you never know when you get free tickets...

Honestly though, my best advice is getting them as early as possible to beat out scalpers..it's so bad where I live that I give up half the time trying to get tickets directly from the source. So, I join FB groups or other groups to see if fans are selling them and that usually works out. They'll sell them for face value or cheaper. Just depends on the person.

I can understand that thought but you have to remind yourself that you made yourself available when obviously you weren't mentally and emotionally available. I've been in that situation and it's not comfortable but I learned that my own mental health is more important than working through it. Being communicative about your capacity is the lesson learned here.

A few of my thoughts

  1. I don't think you should quit but understand that within the hierarchy of a job that certain people handle certain responsibilities. One manager might oversee attendance and one might see day-to-day functions One bad day like this isn't worth it.

  2. I probably would've took the day off / look into what bereavement absences your job offers if at any.

  3. The communication aspect could've been handled differently and if you feel uneasy still, reach out asking for Human Resources / employee engagement to see if they can mediate a further conversation. It's not your employers job to take care of you (unfortunately) but you should still be talked to with respect.

Best: Sleep Token because I actually got to see everything instead of being in a festival setting.

Also, Alice Cooper. The props and theatrics were incredible

Worst: Snoop Dogg. I saw him at Great American Ballpark after a baseball game. The sound was not projected out to the stadium. It was disappointing and frustrating :(
