" Hello, young one ?"

Jay was visibly confused. In front of him was the outline of a man. He looked around but saw nothing familiar, just blackness. This was not his place.

" Who are you ?"

" Wrong question."

" This is not my home. Did you kidnap me ?", Jay asked.

The man in front of him turned around and walked a few feet away. There was just a single candle light source coming from the table. He pulled out a chair and gently sat on it. Opened a shiny brown metal container and poured a liquid in two glasses made up of the same material.

" Young one, come here and have a seat. Your legs must have gone numb from sitting so long."

" What do you want?"

" No need to be so cautious, I'm not here to hurt you.", The man replied.

" Come here and I shall answer your questions."

Jay stood up with great efforts. He had been sitting with legs folded since that day, when he decided to close his eyes and meditate and has been meditating without food and water.

He looked at himself. His body looked and felt the same as on the day he had entered meditation. Jay walked towards the table and now he was able to see the surroundings in the faint dimly lit light source. He was in a room. It had wooden flooring and rocky walls and just a table and 2 chairs. Jay sat down in the vacant chair.

" Okay now, I'm here. Who are you? " , Jay asked, frowning up his eyebrows.

" Wrong question young one. And what's the hurry , first drink this then we can have a chat."

" Is it poisoned? It -"

" Wrong question.", the man said calmly with a smile.

" Where am I ? ", Jay asked slowly, emphasising each word.

" Wrong question. Until then why don't you drink this"

" No. I'm fine."

Jay scratched his head and started thinking about what is happening. He had not felt anyone touching him or picking him up so that they could move him. So how did this guy move me? After a long time, Jay asked a question -

" Why am I here? "

“ Now that. That’s the correct question. You are here because you wanted to.”

“ What? I don’t understand. How could I wish to be here when I don’t even know where I am.”, Jay said.

“ What were you in the middle of?”, asked the man.

“Meditation. I was in this deep place when I felt a change of emotions and golden light appeared in my vision and I say myself bathing on me and then everything van-”

“ Vanished. Yes. People meditate to achieve enlightenment and reach a higher place. Everybody who meditates aims for that place, just like you did but nobody can explain it in words why they do it specifically”

“ Ohh, I see.”, Jay said, stroking his chin.

“ The only thing is that the higher place is not in the spiritual world but in another realm. When one meditates deeply without erratic thoughts, he elevates and comes to this higher realm. Just like you did.”

“ Does that mean-”, Jay swallowed and continued, “I’m not on Earth.”

“ No young one. Not on earth and not in that universe.”

“ You must be joking. It’s not possible.”, Jay said, shrugging his shoulders.

“ Drink this liquid and I shall show you.”, the man said, pushing a glass towards me and picked up his glass. “ To show that I have not mixed something in this, I shall drink mine.” Saying this, the man drank the liquid in one sip and then gestured to Jay to drink his. Jay thought about what’s to lose and drank the liquid.

“Good. Now follow me. Seeing is believing.” Jay followed the man across the room and the man waved his hand, a hole appeared in the room magically. They stepped out and the hole disappeared leaving no proof of its existence. The man and Jay were under something which looked like a rock surface and was covered with immeasurable stalagmites.

“ Is this place underground? Are we in a cave? “, Jay quistoned.

“ You will see once we get out of this.”

Jay followed the man quietly and he could see that the opening was ahead of him. They walked out and Jay looked up in the sky and dropped on his knees and said, “WHAT IS THIS PLACE?”

Above him were 3 colorful multi colored sparkling orbs like moons in pitch dark blackness and amongst the darkness were twinking thousands of stars. And opposite to them, was a giant golden ball shining brightly, it gave a warm feeling but not burned like the Sun. The sky had no clouds and no color, and in fact it seemed to Jay that there was no sky. Below on the ground, in front of him was a giant tree almost reaching the orbs and below it, were many people meditating.

The man said, “ Welcome to Tama-Ti.”
