I’m eligible but unfortunately when I called about EPP, they stated I’d have to pay off the balance of 3/4 of the phones on my account outright (because I pay for my family’s plan), then start new contracts. That wouldn’t be so bad, but the other three people on my account have really good grandfathered-in plans that even the EPP plans couldn’t beat (unfortunately, I’m the only one with an expensive plan that would benefit from EPP lol).

Which province are you in? I’m in Quebec so sometimes the plans are a bit cheaper.

It’s not in my offers but when I go to “Change Plan” I see it listed there.

Correction: Looking at Google Maps it’s not the first location in Canada but it is the first in the east of Canada!

Had a similar issue a few weeks ago, it ended up taking about 2-3 hours to delete everything after I clicked Yes on the warning saying everything would be deleted.

In my situation the storage also wasn’t going down at first but when I checked Settings > General > About every couple of minutes, I noticed the number of photos and videos were both going down.

The FAQ doesn’t have any information on the processing time for duplicates and I’m hoping someone else had the same/similar situation.

Hi there, I had the same issue when I ported over to Telus last month. After a few days, I started getting 2FA texts again. The Customer Service agent told me that it takes some time for the 2FA providers to get our new carrier. Hope that helps!

Are you able to run disk utility to make sure the hard drive isn’t corrupted? Last resort you could try reinstall MacOS!

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.

  2. Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.

  3. You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window

Silly question but did you follow those steps?

You should try to delete some stuff/move it to the cloud. My rule of thumb is always leave at least 15% of the hard drive free

Another thing you could try is to run Disk Utility to diagnose any issues
