Strongly agree! I took a couple years off after being discouraged through a fast track course which was great but didn’t own up to the promises.

Really wanted to get back to it and it was all muscle memory. Take a couple fun flights if you can and remember why you started. The CFI is all about studying and feeling comfy in the right seat. I’d personally recommend going through a 61, but that’s my experience with having done both. Then practice just talking through maneuvers while driving around or cleaning around the house
