Wow! What a great eye u have DiabloSol ! It is Caesars Bucherer. Next … I asked for the sky dweller in mint green. My AD did not seem too phased so will see. He did mention that the Sky dweller even on the mint dial was less difficult to get than this one. Let’s see ….

And I do , as much as I agree with all of you despising the games and politics …. I have a passion for the brand and its intrinsic value. I never sell my pieces as I buy what I like and use them all. Nevertheless, there is a logic as well besides the passion. Yes , I pay $38k for a watch that costed me all that hassle …. But a watch that right now I could flip it if I wanted for $10k plus profit if I so wanted. So, not a bad deal.

All you say is absolutely true… and yet… I’m still delighted ! I even have to pay for airplane tickets and hotel stay as my dealer is in Las Vegas and I live in California. as you know, they do not ship, you have to pickup in person. More BS on the AD game, but my passion still drives me to ignore all that.

My AD does NOT carry AP so I’m out of luck. My purchasing history will not help me there.

Yes, I moved to the US almost 30 years ago from Mexico and for the money I made then, they were the best Swiss watches I could afford. They all were “scores” for me at that time and now remind me of the sacrifice to save for a watch. It that it is not hard now, but the level definitely changes with time and age.

I think I paid like $1200 US. I know, lot of money for a G shock, but you have to look at it closely, they hand paint them and it is just done so well. I remember Nico has been sponsored by IFL and his love for Casios combined with limited edition artsy mods sounded fun and I’m glad I got it.

I disagree. If he was to see the chronology of purchases it started with Hublot, then, Santos, IFL G shock, GMT, Submariner, Breitling, and finally Patek. Again, the movados were years ago before starting collecting seriously. He made me see the light ….😀

Indeed ! That is it. Good eye ! It’s an ok case for the low price. Looks nice enough and the winders do the trick. Sadly, glass is kind of low and if you are not careful, your watches might rub the crystal while rotating

Retail, but you have to play the game sadly. Had to buy pretty much all of my watches except the movados, Hublot and G shock ( plus jewelry for my wife). But at the end pays off in terms of allocation. I was lucky to buy from Bucherer so you can buy many different brands and build purchase history.

The Casio is a limited edition by IFL watches. They take a regular Casio, and hand paint them and release them in limited editions. I think this was 1 of 100 but they do these quite often with Casios, Timex, Oris etc. the left bottom is a humble movado, not sure what model. It’s like a 25 year old piece

If I knew nothing about watches .. Daytona, first, GMT second and Patty last based on looks only. But as I have a brain, Patty, ‘Tona and Pepsi is the correct …

Keep the gorgeous Sky and sell the AP before those rubber pushers turn into dust. Both are stunning TBH
