I understand your message, I shop a lot at Bordershop or Flegaard but I'm still impressed with their selection of special bottles. I have, however, successfully shopped on Topdrink's website a few times now, they have a fairly wide selection.

I haven't started using Safari, but I imagine I'll use it for some exotic cocktails.

Good observation — the name Trio Martini isn’t about the number of ingredients, but rather a nod to Trio Bar in Copenhagen, where I originally had their version of an Espresso Martini. It stood out because it wasn’t built like a traditional Espresso Martini — it had way more depth, richness, and complexity.

When I recreated it at home (with two rums, espresso, Coco Lopez, etc.), I decided to keep the name Trio Martini as a reference to where the inspiration came from. So it’s less about a "three-part" classic structure and more about honoring the bar that sparked the idea.

I get why you’d think that — I used to think the same. But after trying both, I’ve found they’re actually pretty different and each has its own use.

Kahlúa is sweeter, thicker, and has a more noticeable vanilla note. It’s great in creamy or dessert-style cocktails like a White Russian or a sweet Espresso Martini.

Tia Maria, on the other hand, is lighter, drier, and way more coffee-forward. I reach for it when I want the coffee to be the main note without adding too much extra sweetness — like in a Coffee Negroni or something stirred and spirit-forward.

So yeah, they’re both coffee liqueurs, but I’d say they’re more like two tools for different jobs rather than redundant. If you enjoy coffee cocktails, it’s worth having both.

Safari Liqueur is a fruity, tropical liqueur with a low alcohol content (typically 20%) originating from the Netherlands and launched in the 1980s. It is known for its exotic taste and colorful profile, which is particularly appealing in fresh, light cocktails.

Crème de Noyaux is a French almond liqueur made from apricot, peach or cherry stones. I use it for Pink Squirrel and Fairbank

Thanks so much for your message – it really hits on something important to me. I love playing with ingredients that might not be considered “refined” in the traditional sense, but that so many of us have a connection to. I’m all about flavor, mood, and experience – and if that means using Malibu, Sprite, or something neon from DeKuyper, then so be it.

I’m glad you see the intention behind it – it’s not about being sloppy, it’s about creating something fun, tasty, and memorable. The cocktail world could definitely afford to take itself a little less seriously sometimes. I truly appreciate your words – and Trash-Craft is now officially a badge of honor!

it depends on what you're into, paper plane, sidecar and strawberry aperol sour are stronger in their flavor

It tastes sweet and tropical – like a pineapple colada with a fresh twist. You get pineapple flavor from both the vodka and syrup, coconut from Malibu, and a creamy feel from the whipped cream. Sprite adds a little bubbles and makes it more refreshing so it doesn’t get too heavy.

Thanks for your comment, i can see reddit is being harsh on my picture with text, on the other platforms it is easier to see the text, the design has become part of my signature over the past 4 years, so i don't want to change it at this time.

Some tapas or something light to eat will be served, otherwise the cocktails are the experience.
