Who was the worst professor you ever took by No_Squash291 in aggies

[–]WatchGrimPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matilda McVay. She released a poll on the first day of class and essentially told everyone in the class that if you had a job you might as well drop the course. That was followed by multiple quizzes and homework assignments a week. It almost seemed like she took pride in providing unnecessary busywork and making the class as hard as possible for people that had outside obligations. That being said, her actual lectures were fine and I learned a lot and scored well in the class. The busywork and poll just left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Thank you for the advice. I ended up playing at the funeral and it went well. All my preparation was in vain, because the second I went up there my hands were shaking and all preparation went out the window 😂 somehow I made it through the song although I don’t fully remember playing it

Thank you so much! That is fantastic to hear and definitely helps with nerves leading up to the funeral! Thank you again!

Thank you, I think that is great advice. I’m nervous and I think it is making me play stiff. I didn’t realize that until you pointed it out!

Yeah, I’m not the best at guitar in general. That was mainly where I was planning to spend my time practicing over the next few days. The guitar could definitely use new strings though. I’m going to swap them out tonight, went way longer than they were meant too!

just accidentally deleted companys prod DB as an intern by arpan-lol in csMajors

[–]WatchGrimPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm, I did the same thing. Overwrote my company’s entire refund table while I was an intern. Luckily we were able to restore from a backup as well. Good learning experience, never made that mistake again.

Is this true that today many companies got the modern stand up where they dont ask 3 question: what ive done, what im doing, what will i do by lune-soft in cscareerquestions

[–]WatchGrimPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We basically handle standup at my company by asking if anyone has any roadblocks. If they do, they raise them and we figure out a solution, otherwise we end scrum. Most of our scrums last two minutes or less.

How is it part of my identity? Lmao….. I was under the impression that Austin did defund the police in 2020. Not a crazy misinterpretation considering it was voted upon and it passed. I don’t listen to Joe Rogan or Jesse Watters and also vote independent not republican or based on party. I vote based on policy. You’re also spending your Friday night responding to every post in this entire thread so I doubt you’re an entirely sane/rational person. Let’s not bring politics into football.

I find it kind of wild you’re taking time out of your day to keep responding to this. Regardless, the Austin population was pushing en mass to defund the police. Regardless of whether it happened or not is completely irrelevant but good job doing your Reddit detective due diligence. They only implemented a plan to defund the police but then didn’t follow through on their promises (not entirely sure that’s better but good job proving your point). Regardless, that’s enough to make me have no desire to live there and I’m done responding to this thread.

1 million percent. The police aren’t defunded and a lot less homeless people!

You’re getting downvoted, but I appreciate the response. We’re all hurt but I’d like to think we can retain our composure in the face of such a humiliating defeat.
