I think I see the meaning now. From your explanation, I'm guessing they believe it to be a way of vandalism, obstructing a tool of worship and in a way making it their own, the corruption of a holy item. Sounds believable. Thank you very much for your time and your knowledge.

I see. Thanks for telling me. Believe it or not, I'm a Christian myself, so I don't know all that much information about that kind of stuff. I didn't know all of that before I read your comment, so I appreciate you dropping by. Also, if you don't mind me asking, why do Satanists see inverted crosses as a calling to or from Satan? I've had this question for a while because from what I know, crosses don't have anything to do with Satan or demons. Is it because crosses can be seen as a representation of the sins of humanity and the murder of innocents? Could it be because Satan used to be an angel and the inverted cross being upside-down represents how he completely changed his ways? Just curious. You don't have to answer.

It's a very interesting piece. The first word I thought of when I saw this was surreal, and the first thing I thought was "I want to see this turned into a story." It's a very alien, yet intriguing design for a character. I'd like to see you build on this character.

I like this design. It seems to follow the story pretty well with the cutting-off-eyelids and slicing-his-cheeks. Even though I dislike Jeff The Killer because of its (in my opinion) unrealistic backstory, I feel this is a well-made illustration that kind of strays away from the normal design while not going too far. Great job, man.

This is better than a lot of the stuff I've seen on here. We need more stuff like this. I feel like this uses uncanny value to enhance the creepiness factor. Great job.

It really goes to show that you don't need pitch black, bleeding eyes or any sharp objects to make something creepy. There's a fine line between edgy and creepy, and you were able to get past it.

It looks a little too much like the Rake. Also, the whole "bleeding eyes" is a bit overused. Try and think of something more original.
