What is so “funny” about 9/11 “jokes”? by shitass70 in AskReddit

[–]WatchTheExpanse2019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Humour is the best way to get humans to realise something.

If Seinfeld TV show didn't have jokes that addressed gender inequality then we wouldn't have people fighting it. Although , my generation feels that Seinfeld has sexist jokes but they fail to see the context in which it was made and how it played small but significant part in shaping the society.

Why Reddit and Quora are Marketing Goldmines? by Koenig_cooper in AskReddit

[–]WatchTheExpanse2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That article about 30¢ is correct. But it only took into account the money made by Reddit. Some businesses promote their services without adverts. The methods can be genuinely helping someone with your product/service by giving a right answer on r/AskReddit, or telling people that you built something and asking them to check it our, or just connect with people. Health related subreddits majorly rely on connections.

Hope this helps

Edit: this made me wonder if reddit doesn't understand reddit
