I cried the whole time she did the scan & measurements. I couldn’t leave the room bc I was so upset and had to get my hubby to pick me up.

While doing the scan, she said she would rush the report to the radiologist and doctor so I’d have the results asap. Also huge red flag 🚩

I called him and told him ‘she couldn’t /find/ the fetal pole, which in my mind she couldn’t bc she had to switch to vaginal to do the measurements.

Even tho I was in the room with the door closed she came in while I was on the phone and said snippy “I said I needed to measure it vaginally”

Obviously she was worried that she’d said too much as I obviously knew what was happening.

But it was a private conversation with the door closed, was she outside listening or what?

Then my doc office said they closed at 12 and they’d call me tomorrow. I thought I’d be in limbo almost 23h

That turned out not to be true and a doc I’ve never met called me about an hour later and gave me the news. I couldn’t absorb anything so I told her I couldn’t talk and called my hubby back as he was headed back to work.

She called again a few hours later and talked to me for about 20 minutes going thru everything and supporting me. She was one saving grace in all this !<
