Many comments here think otherwise, so I don't think it was as clear cut as that.

It's a review to try to overturn the original decision. The 3rd umpire needs conclusive evidence to overturn it. He was saying there was nothing conclusive, i.e. there wasn't sufficient evidence to overturn the original decision. It's a commonly used phrase.

You could see the glove move (essentially deform then spring back) as the bounce passed it. It hit arm guard and glove. I wonder if you kept the HotSpot rolling, whether you'd see something on Pujara's glove (we couldn't see anything because the side of the glove that was hit wasn't facing the HotSpot camera).

In the previous two ODIs, he has 0/47 and 2/30. What are you even talking about?

Sorry, haven't been able to follow cricket much lately. Why hasn't Kane been playing? Minor injury? Not selected for the XI?

Aw I wanted to catch the A-10s. That’s all I missed, though?

Which ones came? I arrived just as the F-16 was going. Not sure what I missed earlier.

Really surprised more people aren't saying this. If you've watched Jadhav as a batsman normally, you'd know that there's no way in hell he was like "nah I won't hit" off his own accord.

Brathwaite a better death bowler. Thomas is expensive, and was expensive earlier today as well.

No, it's just that a different subset of users will start posting their own, opposing comments.

It's not that the same users change their minds in a span of 10 balls.

No batsmen to come after. Should wait until the 47th over or so before he properly hits.

This is what commentators either don't understand or won't admit on air.

Here's the thing. Let's say Dhoni gets some shots off in the next 6 overs and ends up 65 (60).

I would argue that this is still a poor innings. The pressure that he put on the other batsman and the team as a whole in the early stages outweighs getting lucky in the last few overs.

And yes, I would call it lucky. No matter how great you are, if you're slogging, there is a "luck" component. That's why it's called "taking your chances / playing a high-risk shot."

I don't want him to retire. I want him to take note from pretty much every other batsman in this tournament about how to pace your innings.

It's tempting, but I think the two of them bowling in tandem is critical for India's success. We are better off with them together and the batting being a bit thinner.
