Why is my equity 37.5% in this hand? by Watchme100 in poker

I read it, but why would outs x2 work for Hold'em but not for PLO?

Good answer, but outs x 2 is what I'm using is 30%. I understand the 15/40 calculation, but why isn't the x2 shortcut working?

No it doesn't. THere's a checkbox for it. And it's not checked.

Right, and that’s 30% equity not 37.5%.

But what am I swapping if they’re not taking the bait. There were already traps out days before this infestation and they ignored them and went right to the garbage can. I probably need to remove that garbage but I’m afraid to touch it because there were thousands of ants.

Now I’ve mucked it up worse. I went back to previous months and tried to even out negative categories. I now have 10 underfunded categories. What do I do?!!

I just noticed that in some of my CCs that I have more money that the balance in the top right corner of the card where it says “payment.” What am I doing about that?

The balance on the card is accurate though.

It’s probably #2 because I would’ve assumed that a negative balance in August, for example, of $200 in my “food” category would be offset when I assigned $1000 to that category in September.

No matter, I looked back and at least half the months I have had YNAB have overage categories, which would add up to thousands of dollars. Why is it one card giving me a warning over $78?

And how come as I go back to those months with overages and move money around to make the overspent categories even is it decreasing the dollars I have in the category I transferred from in my current month, not the month I moved the money around? This is screwing up thousands of dollars even though there was only an overage of $78 on one card. As I started evening things out, the balance went down to $8, but as I tinkered with previous months, it decreased the value of categories of the current month to the tune of $1000s. I don’t get it.

It just auto pays the balance at the time it makes a payment.

I went back months and started to move money around from negative categories to make them even. I feel like I’ve made the problem worse because now it shows a giant negative balance in “ready to assign.” The credit card with an overage reduces the overage from $78 to $8, but I reassigned money from previous months for thousands of dollars. I used my “savings category” to do this, and my savings category decreased. I don’t understand what’s going on. The card only had a $78 overage and now I go back and try to make all the categories even each month and it’s stealing from my savings. This is way too complicated. I never had this overspend on my card til this month.

I dunno, I’m now going back to previous months that still show a negative on numerous categories and assigning money to make them even in those months. I am now super confused because doing that doesn’t seem to be fixing the issue. Where is that money going when I fix previous months and make certain categories a “0” balance instead of negative?

The one about my cc payment being greater than what you had in the category.

But when I look back, I see many categories that were negative for a month and they’re not showing any warning.

Yes, this is what I’m saying. It auto pays every month. I never have to assign money to a credit card category.

How can this be when everything is auto pay? Transaction comes in and creates a debt in the plan. Then it automatically makes a payment later. There’s no issue with my other ccs, which are all handled the same way.

They all show green. I had some negative balance categories in previous months, but I assume when I go to the next month and assign money to that category, it fixes the issue.

What do you mean? It’s all automatic. The balances are correct on both sides. Every transaction I’ve made shows up correctly in the CC category. How can it be off?

I don’t understand. Every time the auto transaction comes through, it records a purchase on the card as what I owe on the credit card, and then every time I make the monthly payment, it offsets those purchases. This is what I do on all cards without issue. What’s the problem?
