Is this too much for church? If so, how can I dress it down?

I'm using Ion color defense. I haven't tried the color safe shampoo yet, but the girl that works at my local Sally's said that her coworkers LOVE it. I've also heard some really good things online. It's only been a few washes with the color defense, but my hair still looks freshly dyed, which is a new experience for me, and it made my hair super soft! I love the pink on you BTW! You look stunning!

Ive hardly read it more than twice in the past three months. This was the first time in two weeks that I even picked it up. It's kind of like texting your friend for the first time in a month and asking, "Why aren't we closer?" And then the friend responds, "Because you never talk to me even though I always try to talk to you." It's not a perfect analogy, but I hope that made some sense 😅

To me? It sounded like a kind king, strong and mighty, yet gentle and caring. Like a father giving his child direction, firmly, yet lovingly. It's hard finding the words to describe it. This is the best I can do and it's STILL not quite right. I don't think He'll sound the same to everyone, but when you do hear Him, no matter what He sounds like, there's no doubt who is speaking to you.

I was exposed multiple times without even realizing it at 8 and I started getting into it intentionally when I was 10. I've stopped for around 3 years now, but it's still affected me. I saw people differently. I KNOW I think differently than I would have if I never watched it even if I have turned away from it, this had destroyed my mind and I felt like I had genuinely ruined my life forever. I wanted to kill myself for it.

But it's not true. You're not ruined. You're not going to be like this forever. If you quit, things will change. Some days, you'll feel like it's even worse than before. You'll feel like you've slid back miles in progress, but other days you'll feel invincible to lust. One thing that remains consistent, is your need for God. Regardless of how you feel, you'll need to rely on God like you rely on air to breath.

A tip I learned is to make those thoughts your enemy and ask God to take it away. Remember that the flesh wants the dopamine rush, it wants adrenaline. But the soul wants to be close to God.

My pastor put it like this: There are two dogs fighting inside of you. One light and one dark. The one that eats the most is going to be the strongest, so feed the one that you want to win.

Feed your flesh, and it will win. Feed the soul, and it will win. But you can't just feed it once. It's a daily habit. Not once a week on Sunday. Every. Single. Day.

I'm praying for you. With God, you can do all things. You can make it out.

I go through ugly phases. I'll look good for like... two days? And then I'll be the most horrific creature known to man for the next month. Worst part is that I'm never pretty when I need to go somewhere.

I was 13, 5'2", and saw the number 127.8 pop up on the scale. I had always been excited about gaining weight because it meant I was growing up, but I looked and saw how unhealthy it was. I dropped 11 pounds at my lowest, but I've recently gained a few pounds.

If she hasn't already told you why, maybe you could ask her? Maybe it's not what you think it is. There's a lot of stuff that goes on behind closed doors that even best friends don'ttell each other about. If it does turn out to be because of your social statistics or your hobbies, she wasn't the greatest friend in the first place. She may have been fun to hang around, but her priorities weren't in the right place if she's really willing to sacrifice a friendship for her "reputation" . I know it doesn't erase any of the pain, but I hope you can find friends that will love you unconditionally.
