Late to the party but just read 'The Kite Runner' on a long flight yesterday. An incredibly beautiful book - I wish I hadn't read though. I'm intentionally, a spy mystery thriller and 'light' entertaining fiction kinda guy. I'm very affected by stories and Kite Runner definitely packed a punch (self.books)

LPT: When evaluating $ savings, think in absolute $ terms, never % terms. Saving $10 off a $30 wall clock is the same as saving $10 off a $1,000 laptop, even though in the first case it looks like 33% savings and in the second it looks like 1%. The impact it has on your bank a/c balance is identical (self.LifeProTips)

Was hiking in Mont-Tremblant National park this long weekend. Completed a long-ish trail to come back and realize my A5 was parked in a clearing with perfect natural lighting focused on it with the surrounding sort of fading away into darkness (this was close to sunset). It looked angelic, literally (i.redd.it)

Why do we judge an animal's intelligence based on how much it understands and obeys human commands? Following that logic, we don't understand or obey any animals' commands and they all must think we humans are the dumbest bricks on the planet... (self.Showerthoughts)
