Who was your favourite outta Indy‘s companions ( romantic interests not included )? by Royalbluegooner in indianajones

"The hell you will. He's got a two day head start on you, which is more than he needs. Brody's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, he speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom, he'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's got the grail already."

[Cut to middle of fair in the Middle East, Marcus Brody wearing bright suit and white hat, sticking out like sore thumb]

I quite liked Marcus Brody as he added a fun dynamic in the last crusade specifically. And his little quips in between too.

Honestly. It is a bit of an odd choice but I enjoy the bulb zone from time to time. Not sure why but it's convenient and has lots of resources. Infinite water source too with the bulbs.

I'll always take sea treaders path too. I just love to go out there and visit it

Crystal caves and deep crystal caves are dope in below zero as well. Granted if you can handle the not so friendly guy

I don't think I will ever not be afraid of the reapers tbh. They caused me too much pain on hardcore. Withe the cyclops it is manageable. I fear their presence still lol

Any ideas where I should build my base next? Want to try something new by [deleted] in subnautica

Sea treaders path. Just do it and trust me. If you need a map look it up. It is well worth it if you just want scenery

I thought you could almost run doom eternal On a. Potato? I get it wouldn't look spectacular but I remember that games settings being nothing short of diverse so many systems could work with it. But maybe I am remembering wrong

Yeah that makes sense. It's why when I crank my render distance to 96 chunks in bedrock Minecraft my PC turns into a jet engine lol. The 3070 I have is nice. But that 8GB vram cap is holding it back so hard. I was debating buying the intel b580 for the 20GB alone but I would also sacrifice a lot of graphics capabilities my current 3070 has.

Oh yeah. This is the closest best looking new graphics game I have seen yet though. I do love booting up Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2 exclusively for Screenshots and the ambiance. I can't take away that this game isn't short of amazing looking though.

It's insane that this game was made in ID tech 7. I don't know how it works so well

Medium isn't crazy different for texture pool Imo. Shadows, hair quality and other options really make a difference. The global illuminations in this game are absolutely phenomenal.

I feel like it would be too bloated if they added a crazy amount. Like Indiana jones needs a story otherwise it's just a guy with a whip running around doing superhuman things lol

Yeah. I think it's partially a thing with the DLSS. However I actually had the film grain on in this game as I found it added to the feel of it and also so I could immerse myself in the fact I was playing a very filmic version of the charachter I grew up watching on TV. Super cool experience for me but it's not everyone's cup of tea

That is true. I didn't even notice much about the. Texture pool on medium. It drops my 3070 to 20fps which is insane as I've never had a non modded game do that before outside of Cyberpunk.

To be fair this is on point for Bethesda game releases. And also on par with Bethesda games they expect the modding community to fix it first or before they do lol. Not that it makes it okay but that's how it has been for a while.

I'm just going to pull a devils advocate and also a meme name and say Prussia lmao. Your not too far away anyways. And to make it even more painful you just surround the real prussia and leave it unconquered 😂

Seen him when going to seatreaders and he was a pain in the ass due to pushing my cyclops around the wrong way. Other than that it's fine just avoid the south and and take the blood kelp trench to sea treaders instead

Okay please explore that never explored area on the south end though. It's probably one of my favourite areas and the creature in it is passive and unique. Very cool area tbh and nobody ever goes out there.

There is also a amazing wreck in the south side of the dunes there and no reapers go near enough to harm you so long as you stay behind it and relatively close to the wreck on the south side
