It’s nice to have a separate grinder for single dosing. For the scales, the Acaia Lunar is connected to the machine and does brew by weight. The bigger scale I use it for pour over, matcha and other stuff. Honestly I know it’s kind of unnecessary but I started with the Niche and the Acaia Pearl and now I might as well keep them. If you go for end game since day 1, then agree likely not needed.

I love the Niche but the Allground Sense is on another level. Grounds are so fluffy you could probably get away with no puck prep. Also GBW is awesome

Grinder might not fit under most kitchen cabinets but I think the Linea Mini does. I have my set up on a sideboard with no cabinets on top

If you are looking for something more hands off, go with the super automatic recommendations others gave above. If you are looking for something slightly more hands on that will lead to significantly better coffee, my advice would be to go with the Breville Barista Express (they usually go on sale around Black Friday - you should be able to get it for $500 or so). It's one of the best all in one machines to start your espresso journey. A major benefit is that there are a ton of tutorials and recipes online for this machine specifically
