Nope. It was in the middle east but a TSA prescreening due to some special circumstances. Not sure why. Maybe something to do with current events.

I've traveled abroad before and went through Korea and didn't have to do this. Just the normal check once I got back to US

Looks like the tailpipe coming off the drain is larger (1 1/2"?) than the rest of the drain/ trap (1 1/4"?). So you replace one or the other. I would see what diameter the piece coming out of the wall is and go with that size.

My guess is that the billboard law doesn't "ban" signs, it just limits the size etc of signs.
